Daily Mail: ‘Rocket’ set to launch at Warragul

Prolific winner Rocket Boy – victorious in four of his last six races – lines up against fellow veteran Nicholas Rose in a 400m Special Event at Warragul tonight.

Gold Driller, Pink Diamond finalist Throw Caution, Mr. Neo and Disorientated battle in an extremely competitive 400m Free For All, while Jefferson County headlines a 460m Grade 5 heat.

Shepparton Classic finalist Orson Thunder, Hendrik Bale, and litter brothers Archie’s Entity and Joe’s Entity are all expected to boost their respective records this evening.

Dual G2 finalist Benchester and the in-form Sinful Angel duel in a 410m Free For All at Horsham this afternoon, while the resuming Silver Brute (won six from nine), Ivy Isobel and My Mate Eddie are all tipped to prevail.

There is a bit of pace underneath, but the speed runners will move to the rail, so he should avoid trouble in running and get every chance to hit the scoreboard.

The Watchdog says ?: ORSON THUNDER (2) is the real deal and should be winning easily. KEY EVIDENCE (5) has good early burn and will keep the pressure on throughout, so he can fill the quinella spot. HURRICANE KEELY (1), ANNABELLE ROCKS (6) and ALLAN COE (8) should be battling for third.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:

ORSON THUNDER (2) is still learning what it’s all about, but he is showing enormous potential. He burst onto the scene with two breathtaking 400m wins here and he encountered little luck in his next two runs at Shepparton, however he bounced back to his best with a dashing 25.95sec win here last start and he will be even better for the run. KEY EVIDENCE (5) is another promising type, and he looks the likely runner to fill the quinella spot. He carved out a slashing 22.59sec win here in January and he will have no trouble covering the extra distance tonight. ALLAN COE (8) has won three-of-four here over 400m and he too must be respected, while HURRICANE KEELY (1) has talent and may sneak into the top three.
