‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:

DR. SLATS (5) is a ridiculous talent and after two brilliant wins here in recent weeks, he is expected to push the 19-second barrier today. He has beaten quality chasers here of late and with the depleted line-up, he should get plenty of room in the initial stages, so there should be no excuses. HUGO (7) is a powerful type, and he appears to be the likely danger. He has turned in some terrific performances of late and with a slow beginner on his outside, he will get every chance to balance up and he can then dial up the pressure mid-race. SMART AS JACK (4) has been down on his best form of late, but he loves racing here and he rounds out the serious chances.
