Cracking affair with one of the state’s hottest chasers taking on a star in the making. ZACHARY (3) has been enormous since resuming from a spell and he returns to his favourite track. Since resuming he has carved out ridiculous times wherever he has gone, and a clean getaway should see him figure in the finish again. Potential star PAUA OF JANIE (5) has not received a favourable box draw, but she has exited an awkward draw in 13 of her 21 starts to date, so she is no stranger to having to overcome difficulties. If she can step evenly, she should be able to balance up quickly and head into the bend in the top two. Fingers crossed the two ‘big guns’ can head into the bend going stride for stride and they will have an exciting battle throughout.
