The Watchdog says ?: SHE’S REFINED (6) returned to her explosive best here last Thursday night with a dashing 29.33sec win and a similar performance tonight can see her score again. She takes on an elite line-up including Sandown Park 29.02 winner BIG OPAL ROCKS (7), but she has the ability to go under 29.20sec and that should be the difference.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:

Thrilling affair with some of the state’s most exciting chasers doing battle. BIG OPAL ROCKS (7) has been enormous in his brief career to date and his 29.02sec win here last time was simply breathtaking. He must be respected again tonight, however he may have to work hard from the wide draw. SHE’S REFINED (6) showed a return to her brilliant best here last Thursday night with a sizzling 29.33sec win and she will be even better for the run. She has a lot more early dash than BIG OPAL ROCKS and she will play catch me if you can. KELSEY BALE (1) continues to impress, and she is drawn to make a big impact. She has elite early and mid-race pace and she continues to get stronger all the time. RED REACTOR (2) has been huge at The Meadows to date, while the improving PLAINTIFF (3) can cause an upset if he finds the rail early on.

The Watchdog’s selections: 6 – 7 – 1 – 2

? $2 Win – AMLIN EMPEROR
? Sandown Park ? Race 4 ? Box 5 ? 515m ⏱ 8:04pm
TAB fixed odds: $6.50 Win
Form ? https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666540633/race/4

The Watchdog says
? : He takes on the exciting AMRON BOY (7), however this bloke is highly talented in his own right, and he should have enough pace to cross at the first bend. With the ability to carve out sub 29.30sec, the favourite can’t afford to make too many mistakes.

? $5 Place – ROHAN BALE
? Sandown Park ? Race 7 ? Box 5 ? 515m ⏱ 9:04pm
TAB fixed odds: $3.50 Place
Form ? https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666540633/race/7

The Watchdog says
? : ROHAN BALE (5) has turned in some great performances of late and with the inside three boxes expected to match motors early, he should be able to drift across to the rail and head to the back in the top four or five. His last 200m is when he does his best work and if close enough off the back, he should be able to hit the scoreboard.
