The Watchdog says ?: CURATOR (1) is airborne at present with three wins in his last four starts and he is drawn to lead throughout. PEOPLE GET READY (3) looks the obvious danger, but he will be skinny odds, so we have gone wider for second spot in the hope of securing value.
‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:
The classy PEOPLE GET READY (3) had been struggling for a while, however he has shown a return to form in recent weeks and he will appreciate the slight rise in distance today. He runs into a very good one in CURATOR (1), so he will have to be at his brilliant best. CURATOR (1) promised plenty when scoring at Sandown Park in a scorching 29.30sec in July of last year, however he failed to really deliver on that promise until two starts ago. He ventured to Wagga two runs back and carved out a blistering 30.15sec victory and followed that up with a slashing 30.21sec victory and he gives every indication that the 600m journey will suit. If he can hold the lead today, he should be able to zip away mid race.
