Wow She’s Fast (3 from 3 – 29.09sec PB) has been the talk of greyhound racing since becoming the fastest 515m maiden winner at Sandown Park last month, and she is aiming to stay unbeaten in a Restricted Win heat (515m) at Sandown Park this afternoon.

Sir Harley (3 of last 6), Boston Garden (4 from 9 – 3 from 3 Box 7) and Weblec Raider are considered the biggest dangers to Wow She’s Fast.

McInerney v Perfectly Poised (3 of last 6) v G3 finalist Mepunga Freda (won last 2) v Mepunga Mustang (4 from 7) should be a far more competitive Restricted Win heat.

G1 finalists Handsome Rhino (9 from 21 – 2 from 3 Box 1) and Fernando Mick (2 of last 4 – 29.30sec PB), plus Fantastic Raven (15 from 36), is set to be a terrific clash.

Dreamers Lie (5 from 11) v Chatterbox Tilly and Mirror Illusion (8 from 18) v Venus Light (2 of last 3) should be strong battles, while Nike Apache is strongly tipped to win the Vale Paul Wheeler Mixed 6/7 515m race.

At Sale, Pink Diamond 425m winner Aussie Secret (29 from 56 – 24.45sec PB) v track specialists Omega Dodge (6 of last 8) and Sweet Demi highlight the 440m Free For All.

Dr. Slats (4 from 8 – 3 from 5 Trk/Dst) v Pink Diamond 425m runner-up Dr. Knuckles (4 of last 7) v G1 finalist Persian Goddess (3 of last 5) is another great contest, while G3 placegetter Zac’s Entity (2 from 5) and Aston Oriental should both prevail.

Trickity Click v Aubameyang v Jordanville Jet (8 from 11 Trk/Dst) v Miss Cosmic Lee and G2 placegetter Amarillo Highway v On The Bit (6 from 9 – 18.89sec PB) are predicted to be tight races at Healesville, while Dynamic Prince (4 from 5) and Rumour Is Fact (16 from 38 – 3 from 4 Box 7) are expected to boost their respective strike rates.

The Watchdog says ?: WOW SHE’S FAST (1) is the hottest prospect in the game and she should be chalking up another win today. She has been dominant in her three victories to date and although her latest win was not her fastest, it was probably her most impressive. It was the first time in her career where she has missed the kick and had to work through traffic. She showed tremendous tenacity when pushing through at the first bend before assuming control off the back straight and charging to the line. Today’s line-up is the toughest she has met to date, however from the good draw, she should be able to pounce on the early lead and if the track is in decent condition, she should rattle the 29-second mark. WEBLEC RAIDER (8) is the main danger, if there is one. He lit up The Meadows with a sizzling 29.87sec win two runs back and he is really starting to put it altogether. The small field should suit his race pattern and I expect him to power to the line and fill the quinella spot. MEPUNGA STELLAR (4), SIR HARLEY (5) and BOSTON GARDEN (7) round out the field and all three would be serious chances in any other race on the card, however they may have to settle for the minor end of money today.

He likes to move to the middle of the track, but he has good early burn, and he should be able to hold his position as he moves to the centre of the track. The Watchdog says ? : BODY HACK (8) has always shown plenty of promise and he continues to improve with each run. Last time out he turned in an enormous performance when placed in a heat of the Group 2 Bendigo Cup and he should find this event a tad easier. He carved out a breathtaking 6.45sec to the first marker at Bendigo and a similar performance here should see him clear his main rival INVICTUS ETHAN (3) in the initial stages and that could be the difference.
