Greyhound racing’s inaugural ‘Grassroots’ series kicks off at Ballarat on Sunday with heats of the Grassroots Regional Sprint Championship.
Seven provincial clubs will host heats of the sprint series next week, with the Grassroots Regional Staying Championship – to involve four clubs – to begin on 16 September.
Both finals will be held at Ballarat on Wednesday 22 September, with the two streams to distribute a combined $100,000 in prize money.
