VALE PAT HAAS

One of the trailblazers of Victorian greyhound racing, Pat Haas, has sadly passed away at age 79.

Pat was among the inaugural inductees into Victorian greyhound racing’s Hall of Fame.

She led the way for female greyhound trainers despite being faced with many challenges relating to equal opportunity.

Pat won the inaugural Metro Ladies Trainers Premiership in 1973, and followed up with Metro Trainers Premierships in 1974, 1977, 1978, 1980 and 1981.

FUNERAL DETAILS
The funeral for the late Patricia Haas will commence at 10am on Thursday 2 May at David Bull Pakenham Funeral Home, 190 Princes Highway, Pakenham.
