Daily Mail: Roaring tussle

Two youngsters on the rise meet in a riveting encounter in Race 4 at Warragul tonight, scheduled for 7.49pm.

Ever Lovin’ Man burst on the scene winning 3 of his first 5 starts including a scintillating Best of Night Sale victory in 24.68sec.

Tonight is his third run back from a spell so he could be set to return to his brilliant best, although he’ll need to overcome a fellow potential star in Tiger Isla.

Like Ever Lovin’ Man, Tiger Isla has less than 10 starts to her name and an almost identical PB at Sale (24.69sec), indicating this race could go down to the wire.

It was another big day out for the Daily Mail yesterday returning a profit of 171%, so be sure to scroll down for ? The Watchdog’s $10 spend

? MUST-WATCH RACE: Warragul To Sandown Heat 2 (1 – 4 wins)

EVER LOVIN’ MAN ? TIGER ISLA

? Warragul ? Race 4 ? 460m 7:49pm

Form ? https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960210/race/4

The Watchdog says ?: TIGER ISLA (8) is an exciting prospect, and she is capable of really testing the clock. She has recorded a breathtaking 24.69sec win at Sale from this draw and she was enormous at that track two runs back. With an empty draw on her inside, she should get every chance to balance up and assume control as they head into the first bend. EVER LOVIN’ MAN (5) showed enormous potential in his first preparation and his two runs since resuming have been impressive. The box draw is a slight concern, but he does possess a fantastic turn of foot and, if given some room, he should put the acid test to the favourite for most of the journey. CROWDZA DAZZLED (3) lit up the clock here two runs back over 400m and he continues to improve with each run. This is his first go over 460m, so he may need the run, but he will be prominent throughout. BROADWAY BENNY (6) returned to racing with a strong 22.78sec win here and he is better suited to this distance range, so if there is to be an upset, he may be the culprit. However, if the two top elects can gain a clear passage it should be a terrific battle throughout.

The Watchdog says ? : BRINDLE GOAT (5) has been impressive to date, and he appears to have a fair bit on his rivals. BUCK THE JOCKEY (2) is very well graded and is a track specialist, so this really does look to be his race. DANCING CASSIE (2) was beaten a long way here last time, but the run was much better than it looks. I expect her to lead tonight and hold on for a top three finish. TIGER ISLA (8) is a serious prospect and she can light them up soon after box rise.

Multi price: $5.86

? $2 Quaddie – 50% (4 combinations)
? Geelong ? Races 5 – 8 ⏱ 4:16pm
Form
?  https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960259/race/5

?: 1

? ?: 2

? ? ?: 2,4,6,8

? ? ? ?: 1

The Watchdog says ? : The Quaddie looks straight forward today. NIGHT SHIFTER (1) is a serious prospect, and he should be leading from go to whoa. EL SUENO (2) turned in a big performance to beat a smart line-up here last time and she will appreciate the empty draw on her outside. The third leg is a little more open, so we are looking for some value, especially with KING KABOOM (6). KEEP IT BLUE (1) has been a money muncher in recent months but from the inside draw today he can make amends and get the job done.

? $2 Win – DAWN SPIRIT
? Warragul ? Race 2 ? Box 1 ? 460m ⏱ 7:05pm
TAB fixed odds: $2.90 Win
Form ?  https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960210/race/2

The Watchdog says ? : DAWN SPIRIT (1) ran into a jet here last week and she was far from disgraced when finishing second. Her own personal time was more than handy on that occasion, and she should find this event a lot easier. She will need a little room early, but with slow beginners drawn directly on her outside she will get every chance to drive through and hold a prominent spot at the bend. If she does manage hold the lead she will take a power of beating.

? $3 Win – MISS DEMONICA
? Warragul ? Race 11 ? Box 1 ? 400m ⏱ 10:25pm
TAB fixed odds: $2.40 Win
Form ?  https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960210/race/11

The Watchdog says ? : MISS DEMONICA (1) owns a solid 22.87 PB here but she can go a lot faster, and she looks very well graded tonight. EL FERNANDA (2) will pour the pressure on early, but our selection will either hold the lead or sit just off the pace and, provided she gains a clear passage, should prove too strong in the run home.
