HAZEY ROY ? The Clock

? Warragul ? Race 8 ? 460m 6:50pm

 Form ? https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/672590496/race/8

The Watchdog says ? : HAZEY ROY (2) has always been a star chaser, however in recent months he has gone to a new level. He has been beaten in his past three runs, but he has run into two freakish talents in Koblenz (twice) and Equalizer, and on each occasion, he was enormous in defeat. With DONE TIME (1) expected to pounce on the early lead, ‘Roy’ should be able to drive through once they leave the mat and he should assume control soon after. He really is flying at present and if the track is in good condition, a sub 25.60sec run could be on the cards. LOZ’S BLING (3) and MANDALORIAN (8) are both powerful types, but they may have to settle for minor money tonight, whilst up-and-comer FLYING VIPER (4) has been thrown in the deep end, but he is one to watch going forward.

Selections:  2 – 1 – 3 – 8

? THE WATCHDOG’S $10 INVESTMENT ?
? Friday 3 June

? $3.50 Place – GREAT QUESTION
? Bendigo ? Race 2 ? Box 3 ? 500m ⏱ 12:52pm
TAB fixed odds: $2.10 Place (top two finish required)
Form ?  https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/672590497/race/2

The Watchdog says ? : GREAT QUESTION (3) is a serious up-and-comer and I expect her to atone for her luckless run here last week. After beginning well, she was about to assume control and shoot away but was dragged down when trying to cross. She runs into a jet in MUSTANG CHARLIE (4), but she will make him work hard throughout and a top two finish looks likely.

? $2.50 Place – STEEL MAGNOLIA
? Healesville ? Race 11 ? Box 6 ? 300m ⏱ 1:49pm
TAB fixed odds: $2.60 Place

Form ?  https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/565960181/race/11

The Watchdog says ? : STEEL MAGNOLIA (6) can be a little hard to follow at times, but she beat a good line-up here over 350m two runs back and followed that run up with an unlucky fourth here last week in similar company. She is a desperate wide runner, so from box six, she should have no trouble getting into the clear and will really power to the line.

? $2 Quaddie – 13.33% (15 combinations)
? Warragul ? Races 5 – 8 ⏱ 5:57pm
Form

?: 2

? ?: 1,3,7

? ? ?: 1,2,3,4,5

? ? ? ?: 2

The Watchdog says ? : COMBUST (2) is a serious prospect and appears to be a good anchor in the first leg. PACK OF JOKERS (1) is the top elect in the second leg, but he can miss the kick, so we are going to take JUDGE HOOK (3) and REGGAE MIKADO (7) as a saver. The third leg is the value leg, so we have gone wide. HAZEY ROY (2) is airborne and looks the goods in the last leg.

? $2 Trifecta – 2 / 1,3,4 / 1,3,4,8 (22.22%)

? Warragul ? Race 8 ? 460m ⏱ 6:50pm             ***Must Watch Race***
Form ?  https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/672590496/race/8

The Watchdog says ? : HAZEY ROY (2) is airborne, and I expect him to score with ease. DONE TIME (1) can lead them up, whilst LOZ’S BLING (3) and FLYING VIPER (4) are run-on types, so one of those three runners can sneak into the quinella spot. MANDALORIAN (8) is a class act and must be included for third spot
