In case you missed it – I’m Talking, Yachi Bale and Don’t Ignore Me

Form expert Dale Code has picked out a selection of runs from around Victoria that have caught the eye over the past fortnight.

#1 I’M TALKING (Box 2)
Breeding: May ’20 Fernando Bale x It’s All Talk
Trainer: Angela Galea, Sunshine North
Record: 22 starts 8-4-1

Dale says: After a steady beginning, I’m Talking was sandwiched in between runners and squeezed out to last. Once balanced, he put the paw to the floor and although spotting the leader a healthy start, he powered home along the inside rail to record this impressive last-to-first victory.     Results

#2 YACHI BALE (Box 6)
Breeding: Sep ’20 Allen Deed x Sammy Allen
Trainer: Mark Delbridge, Balliang
Record: 10 starts 4-3-2

Dale says: After finding early bother and despite having to push wide and go around runners, Yachi Bale still found himself in a threatening position only to be denied a run down the back straight. However, he still managed to produce another burst of speed and round up the leaders to score by the barest of margins.     Results

#3 DON’T IGNORE ME (Box 8)
Breeding: Feb ’20 Aston Dee Bee x Mia Tesoro
Trainer: Robert Pallotta, Ripplebrook
Record: 19 starts 5-2-3

Dale says: Don’t Ignore Me was the best backed runner of the night ($2.30 into $1.50) and punters had cause for concern when the hot pot bombed the start. With two other fancied runners in the race off and gone, the favourite had plenty of ground to make up and victory looked unlikely. Circumnavigating the field, Don’t Ignore Me went into overdrive and stormed home to record this impressive win.     Results
