BLACK SAIL (2) showed enormous potential when last in work and he is expected to atone for his luckless run at Traralgon when resuming from a spell. His box manners aren’t great, but he does pick up quickly and he can rail, so with a clear run initially, he should be able to burst into contention as they negotiate the first turn. REAR VIEW MIRROR (8) has been racing in great style at Traralgon of late and he is a major player. He doesn’t have a great record from this draw but with a lack of genuine early pace engaged in this event, he should be able to muster pace quickly and assume control soon after box rise. WEEONA JACK (5) beat a good line-up here two runs back and he just needs to find the rail after box rise.
