SUDOKU COBRA (1) has been racing in consistent style of late and he is drawn to lead for a long way. UNCLE’S GIRL (6) has always done her best racing here and she will appreciate the smaller line-up today.

Multi price: $2.64

? $2 Win – PATRIOT EARHART

? Must Watch Race ?

GRV Road to the Diamond Restricted Win Final

? Ballarat ? Race 6
? Box 5 ? 450m ⏱ 8:25pm

TAB fixed odds: $2.80 Win

The Watchdog says ?: PATRIOT EARHART (5) – a winner in 29.84 seconds at The Meadows on April 13 – was enormous here last Wednesday night and with a clean getaway, she should be able to assume control soon after box rise and score. It’s a great line-up of promising chasers, but she is the real deal and looks a good bet at the price.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:

PATRIOT EARHART (5) announced herself as a potential star with scorching wins around this circuit and at The Meadows in March and April. She experienced a streak of luckless runs before rebounding here last Wednesday night with a dashing 25.19sec heat win. The draw isn’t ideal, but she has a slow beginner on her outside, so a clean getaway should see her get enough room to balance up and put herself into contention. FIRE HOSE (8) was huge through the rich Gold Rush series at Bendigo, and he followed those runs up with a gutsy 25.42sec heat win. He was pressured throughout and was entitled to relent, however he kept kicking up the straight and he will have derived a lot of benefit from that run. SET ME FREE (3) would prefer a longer journey and she will be charging to the line. CARAJILLO (1) continues to impress, while the strong BELLE VIOLIN (6) can run a cheeky race.
