The Watchdog says ? : He is absolutely airborne at present and his three wins here have been in blistering times. There is a fair bit of early speed in this event, but he should get a nice cart across from DR. KNUCKLES (7) and he can then burn them off through the bend.

The Watchdog says ?: UNTAPPED (5) led for a long way last Sunday night and I think she will be better for the run. There isn’t a whole lot of early pace and she should be able to pounce on the lead. I’m expecting there to be some bumping behind her, so if she can get down to around 37.05sec which I think she is capable of, that may be enough to see her score.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:

It’s the only country cup in Victoria at Group 1 level and it’s an absolute cracking field. MEPUNGA RUBY (1) has gone up favourite and probably deserves to be, however she will need some luck at the first bend as she tries to move to the outside. JARICK BALE (8) produced a near record performance here recently, however he hasn’t fared too well with the draw tonight. He can be a little hit or miss early and with the even pace underneath, he may be pushed wide at the bend. ZAC’S ENTITY (6) turned in a gutsy performance in his return to the track here last Sunday night and if he puts his best paw forward, he will definitely hit the scoreboard. UNTAPPED (5) looks the leader and she will be better for the run, whilst local star OMEGA TYSON (7) is definitely capable of causing an upset.
