📢 THE WATCHDOG’S $10 INVESTMENT 📢
📅 Friday 7 January
💰 $3 Win – TED DO
📍 Healesville 🏁 Race 4 🔲 Box 5 📏 350m ⏱ 11:42am
TAB fixed odds: $3.80 Win
Form 👉 https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666539944/race/4
The Watchdog says 🎤 : He loves racing here and he will be suited by the smaller line-up. His box manners are solid, but he does his best work in the middle stages, so if he can get to the outside without finding too much bother, he can get the cash.
💰 $5 Win – TYPHOON SAMMY
👀 Must Watch Race 👀
SEN Track Warragul Cup Heat 2
📍 Warragul 🏁 Race 4
🔲 Box 6 📏 460m ⏱ 7:49pm
TAB fixed odds: $1.90 Win
The Watchdog says 🎤: TYPHOON SAMMY (6) returned to his brilliant best over 400m last Sunday night and I’m expecting him to begin well again tonight. He should have enough pace to hold out his rivals at the bend and they will have trouble reeling him in.
‘Must Watch Race’ Preview 🎤:
Thrilling series and I think this is the strongest of the heats. TYPHOON SAMMY (6) returned to his brilliant best with a dazzling 22.10sec win here last Sunday night and he should be ready to tackle the 460m journey. He is armed with blinding pace soon after box rise, and he may be able to break them up through the bend. KINSON BALE (3) was recently placed in the Group 1 Melbourne Cup final, and he looks to be the obvious danger. However, he can be a little hit or miss early, so he can’t afford to make too many mistakes. HENNESSEY (2) is facing his toughest test to date, but he has carved out some scorching wins of late, while the ultra-consistent HAZEY ROY (4) has the speed to lead and is capable of causing an upset.
The Watchdog’s selections: 6 – 3 – 2 – 4
💰 $2 Win – FERNANDO MICK
📍 Warragul 🏁 Race 5 🔲 Box 7 📏 460m ⏱ 8:12pm
TAB fixed odds: $7.50 Win
Form 👉 https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666540030/race/5
The Watchdog says 🎤 : He runs into an in-form chaser in BROTHER BEARING (6), however he is all class and appears suitably drawn out wide. He has terrific pace once balanced and at the price he is great value.
