Bloom she did as upset occurs in Topcat Video Cup

She Will Bloom caused a boil over in last night’s Group 3 Topcat Video Cup Final (725m) at The Meadows as Tornado Tears’ Box 6 curse continued.

Trained by Brendan Pursell, She Will Bloom notched her 14th win from 35 starts, and this was her first victory at group level.

The daughter of Turanza Bale x Kula Girl paid $12.20, and earned a $25,000 first prize.

Hot favourite and four-time Group 1 winner Tornado Tears’ dreaded record from Box 6 extended to six starts without a win.

WATCH: She Will Bloom (5) defeats Annie Lava and Blue Shadows in 42.57sec.
