Daily Mail: Can ‘Nike’ do it at Warragul?

G3 finalist Nike Apache lines up against My Seanna (won six from nine) and El Dorado (won seven from 11) at Warragul this evening.

Soda Prince is eyeing five straight wins, while G1 runner-up Fernando Mick faces dual G2 finalist Perfect Colour and the in-form Wigram Road.

G3 finalist Zigzag Cabang is the standout chaser at Horsham this afternoon.

Second
?: Place – SIR MARLEY
? Warragul ? Race 10 ? Box 8 ? 400m ⏱ 9:58pm

Third
?: Win – FERNANDO MICK

TAB fixed odds: $1.50 Win
Form ? https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666538587/race/12

The Watchdog says
? : ENAMOURED (8) is a serious prospect and from the outside draw, she will get plenty of room early and she should be off and gone through the bend. SIR MARLEY (8) is ideally drawn out wide and he is very strong in the run home, so an ounce of luck early should see him finish in the top two. FERNANDO MICK (4) is racing with great confidence, and he will appreciate the smaller line-up tonight.

Multi price: $4.65

? $4 Win – LONGDOWN
? Warragul ? Race 1 ? Box 8 ? 460m ⏱ 6:44pm
TAB fixed odds: $2.40 Win
Form ? https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666538587/race/1

The Watchdog says
? : LONGDOWN (8) has been desperately unlucky in his past two at Sandown Park and he turned in a great performance when placed on debut at Sale, so it’s clear he has a big motor, and he should be suited by the small line-up. There are a couple of well bred types in this event, however they will have to be very good to beat him.

? $3 Win – MY SEANNA

? Must Watch Race ?

Restricted Win Final

? Warragul ? Race 8
? Box 1 ? 460m ⏱ 9:20pm

TAB fixed odds: $4.80 Win

The Watchdog says ?: I had MY SEANNA (1) in for third in my tips, however at the price, she looks to be the best betting option. There is nothing separating the ‘big three’ in this event and if she can reproduce the 5.21sec to the first marker at Sale from three runs back, she might be able to hold the early lead, and she can carve out serious time when in the clear.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:

The exciting EL DORADO (8) is one of the major players after a devastating 25.71sec heat win. He has always shown enormous potential and he has gone two-for-two since resuming from a spell. He exited this draw last Tuesday night and although this event has a different speed map, he should be able to enter the bend in the top three and he will be strong in the run home. NIKE APACHE (7) was a little unlucky in his heat when running second and he was a scorching 25.71sec winner here the week before, so he is racing at his absolute best at present and with some luck early, he will make a big impact. MY SEANNA (1) didn’t go as fast as her two main rivals, however the way she won was super impressive and from the inside draw, she should be able to settle in a prominent spot and she has sub 25.70sec type of talent.
