Daily Mail: ‘Zac’ is back at Sandown Park

Two-time G1 finalist Zac’s Entity is racing for the first time since the G1 Sale Cup Final in a 595m Grade 5 heat at Sandown Park this afternoon.

Black Sail – the fastest greyhound over 500m at Traralgon – plus G3 finalists Aston Lights and Gold Skulltula are also in action.

Slingshot Reaper (won his last five) and 300m track record holder Kepal (won his last four) are racing at Healesville this morning.

Sale 24.56 winner Dr. Gwen, G3 runner-up Lakeview Max and G2 runner-up Aston Shine headline their respective races at Sale tonight.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:

It’s only a Grade 5 heat, but we get to see one of the code’s most gifted chasers in ZAC’S ENTITY (8) make his return to the track. He can be a little hard to follow and he can make mistakes, but there is no doubting that he has generational talent and if everything goes to plan today, the track record could be in trouble. The draw normally wouldn’t be ideal on a bend start; however, OSPREY ROSE (7) has brilliant early speed, and she should give him a nice cart into the first bend, and it should be a procession from there on.
