We are down to a field of three, however we get to see staying megastar MEPUNGA RUBY (2) go around. GYPSY WYONG may have captured the Group 1 Bold Trease; however, I still think ‘Ruby’ is the best stayer in the game at present. She has carved out some blistering times in her career to date and with the smaller line-up, she should gain a clear passage throughout, and I would expect her to rattle the clock. ASTON ALPHA (1) is an improving type, and he is getting stronger all the time, so although he probably can’t beat her, he can fill the quinella spot.
