PINK CAMPAIGN FINISHES IN STYLE

GO THE PINK DOG RAISES $55,500

The 2013 Go The Pink Dog campaign finished in style with a winner at Sandown Park last night taking the total raised for the month to $55,500.

Sandown Park, together with Greyhound Racing Victoria, pledged $5,000 for every pink winner at Sandown last night (up from the standard $500), in conjunction with the club’s ‘Girl’s Night Out’ event.

Every time a greyhound wearing the pink number 8 rug won a Victorian greyhound race during February $500 was donated to the McGrath Foundation.

The total raised over the past four years stands at $283,000, which is used to help raise ‘breast awareness’ and place more McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia.
