She’s got good early speed and is drawn beautifully as she enjoys being in the wider part of the track. Perfect Picture (6) on her inside has no early speed so Aston Aquitaine will go forward. Hurriedly (1) and Lakeview Cindy (8) are threats but not big ones.

NEXT BEST
Race 3, Paw Oswald (1)
It’s a ripping field but he’s got the perfect draw and is as consistent as they come. There will be a few charging late but he’s every chance to be leading with a margin and too hard to reel in. His box 1 record is wild as well – in a very good way.

ANOTHER NEXT BEST
Race 12, Paw Matic (10)
She’s faced tougher competition than this recently and it shouldn’t be a tough challenge for her to lead this race. The draw isn’t great on paper but she’s got more class than these and I expect she’ll be very hard to beat. She’s due for a win and tonight could bring it.

VALUE
Race 9, Oh Biscuit (3)
She’s capable of flying out of the boxes which clearly helps. Her downsides are that she races wide and she’s not strong. However, with that early speed, at north of double figure odds she represents value to me. A replica of her time two starts back should have her finishing on the podium.

WORTH THE RISK/TAKE ON
Race 4, Red Hot Diva (5)
She’s first up since June and the class of greyhound she faces tonight is something she’s never seen before. She ran like a superstar at The Meadows two starts ago, but that was in May and we can’t purely rely on that tonight. She’s short in the market, first up for ages, tough opposition, middle draw = let’s take her on.
