We’re trying something a little different at The Meadows on Saturday night with the first Maturity Heats Watchalong.
The idea is simple – watch the races with us, join the conversation and enjoy a much looser version of a traditional broadcast.
The card features heats of the Group 1 Maturity Classic along with the Fireball heats for the stayers. Fields are out and it’s a BELTING card – see them via the Watchdog App.
We’ll be live from shortly before Race 1 through to the final race.
Corey Smith, Brett Honey, Ethan Christian and yours truly will be on deck, with racecaller James Van de Maat also dropping in throughout the night.
There’ll be live reactions, trainer insights, a few trainers getting roasted, footy score checks and some new speed maps designed to help casual punters get a better read on the races.
