In terms of tips, in Race 3 the classy Giacomo has come up with a suboptimal wide draw, but he has the early speed to lead which puts him in the box seat to win the race.

Race 9, Contradiction (3)
The sharp Contradiction looks the one to beat in Race 9. He doesn’t fly out of the boxes, but he should get ample opportunity to use his acceleration and he looks strong enough to finish the race well. Since he resumed racing in March, he’s in career best form.

BEST VALUE
Race 10, Kiwi George (2)
The night’s value play comes up in Race 10 and it’s Kiwi George. An inside draw is crucial for this fella and he’s got it. He’ll be fair to begin, then stick to the rail and show speed mid-rac. Hoppy is probably the one to beat, but the draw gives Kiwi George every chance to finish on the podium.

WORTH THE RISK/TAKE ON/LAY
Race 7, Gambella (6)
She’s rocks or diamonds as they say, in other words finishes no-where or belts them. Her results from wide draws are very average compared to inside draws. Given the powerful force that is Paw Damon (2), he can easily spoil the party. Happy to take on Gambella.
