Good Friday Appeal Fundraising: One week in

Victoria’s greyhound racing community is working together to raise funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, with more than $20,000 raised so far.

On 1 March, we collectively raised $11,092.75 as part of 3AW’s Climb for the Kids at Eureka Tower in Melbourne.

Furthermore, thanks to GRV, Victoria’s 13 race clubs and Sportsbet, a Good Friday Appeal ‘blue dog’ fundraiser is continuing to contribute to this magnificent cause.

‘BLUE DOG’ FUNDRAISER: HOW IT WORKS

Every time a greyhound wins a race in Victoria wearing the blue number four rug during the month of March, $300 will be donated to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal, thanks to GRV, Victoria’s 13 race clubs and Sportsbet. The donation amount will increase from $300 to $600 for every number four winner in Victoria on Good Friday (March 29).
