In case you missed it – Jungle Panther, Rejuvenate and Every Four Years

Form expert Dale Code has picked out a selection of runs from around Victoria that have caught the eye over the past fortnight.

#1 JUNGLE PANTHER (Box 5)
Breeding: Mar ’20 Barcia Bale x Up Hill Jill
Trainer: Jeff Geall, Fyansford
Record: 63 starts 26-10-9

Dale says: Jungle Panther in the Group 2 Horsham Cup Final did what no other dog has been able to achieve since Devastate in the 1989 Traralgon Cup Final by producing a last-to-first win in a country cup final.

Simply breathtaking!

#2 REJUVENATE (Box 6)
Breeding: Nov ’20 Hooked On Scotch x Zall Good
Trainer: Paul Brown, Burramine
Record: 19 starts 16-2-0

Dale says: Reinforcing his status as one of the fastest dogs in the sport, Rejuvenate had to work overtime initially in recording new figures for the Shepparton 450m journey posting a ridiculous 24.59 seconds in this display of pure speed and strength.

#3 EVERY FOUR YEARS (Box 2)
Breeding: Dec ’20 Bernardo x Eye Will Reign
Trainer: John Paraskevas, Pearcedale
Record: 13 starts 7-4-0

Dale says: This was a brilliant victory for a number of reasons.

Given the quality of opposition and the sizzling time of 16.34 seconds, Every Four Years was still able to win despite bombing the start and finding some early bother.
