First
?:
Place – OZZIE PACK
? The Meadows ? Race 7 ? Box 1 ? 525m ⏱ 1:54pm
TAB fixed odds: $1.50 Place (Top two finish required)

Second
?: Place – NATTEO BALE
? The Meadows ? Race 11 ? Box 3 ? 525m ⏱ 3:17pm
TAB fixed odds: $1.65 Place (Top two finish required)

Third
?: Place – TYBALT BALE
? Ballarat ? Race 7 ? Box 4 ? 450m ⏱ 8:57pm
TAB fixed odds: $1.40 Place
Form ? https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666538701/race/7

The Watchdog says
? : OZZIE PACK (1) was a gutsy winner at Sandown Park last time and he is drawn to lead for a long way. NATTEO BALE (3) caught the eye here last time and he will be suited by the smaller line-up. With some luck in running, he should be able to sneak into the top two late. TYBALT BALE (4) will appreciate the drop in class, and he should be able to cross and find the early lead. If he can find the top, a top-three finish looks likely.

? Must Watch Race ?

Heat of Glenview Cup

? Traralgon ? Race 5
? 395m ⏱ 8:08pm

The Watchdog says ?: MR. AUDACIOUS (1) is a potential megastar and Shepparton 450m track record holder, and he is drawn to lead throughout. GOTBA Cup winner JEFFERSON COUNTY (3) should settle on his outside and he can fill the quinella spot. We have gone wide for third in the hope of securing some value.

‘Must Watch Race’ Preview ?:

MR. AUDACIOUS (1) has won nine-of-12 to date, four-of-four this track/distance and from the inside draw, there should be no excuses for the potential megastar. His box manners can be a little hit-or-miss early but he has electric pace once balanced and he should give the track record (21.53 seconds) a nudge. JEFFERSON COUNTY (3) is far better than his past few runs and he looks the likely danger. He has some scorching wins around Warragul and up the straight at Healesville to his credit, so with a clear run early, he should settle outside MR. AUDACIOUS and he will work him hard throughout. ASTON SHINE (6) has been a great chaser for some time now and although a couple of lengths off his best at present, he is still more than capable.

? $4 Win – MY MATE EDDIE
? Ballarat ? Race 5 ? Box 8 ? 450m ⏱ 8:18pm
TAB fixed odds: $3.70 Win
Form ? https://watchdog.grv.org.au/meeting/666538701/race/5

The Watchdog says
? : MY MATE EDDIE (8) has been a little costly of late but there have been excuses and from the outside draw tonight, he should get every chance to make amends. PURNIA BALE (7) should show pace and create a path for him in the initial stages and if he can enter the bend in the top two, he should prove too classy in the run home.
