How to spend $50 on TAB’s ‘All In’ Sandown Cup market

After ‘burning the midnight oil’ on TAB’s ‘All In’ market for the Group 1 RSN Sandown Cup (715m), The Watchdog is tipping New South Wales superstar Zipping Kansas to claim a “breakout Group 1”.

“Heat 5 (Race 8) is the most exciting heat of the night,” said the form expert.

“You’ve got Zipping Kansas (Box 6) taking on Collinda Patty (Box 7) and I think ‘Kansy’ is going to step well and he’ll get across to the lead.

“Collinda Patty will get that nice cart across and it’ll be game on.

“But I think ‘Kansas’; he’s just that good. And this is his sort of race. This is going to be a breakout Group 1 and set him on the road to stardom.”

The Watchdog says the fourth heat (Race 7) is “probably the most interesting” with Collinda Lady (Box 2) taking on star New South Wales stayer Super Estrella (Box 1).

“I think the ‘red’ (Super Estrella) will lead… Collinda Lady has been unlucky in her last two and she’ll make amends. I think she’ll get through to the final.”

The form expert believes Rohan Bale (Box 5) has been “rushed up” to ‘715’.

“But he is going to be that good. I think he can overcome that sort of adversity.

“If he happens to step, he’ll put himself right into the mix and run a huge race.”

The Watchdog’s $50 spend

$30 on Zipping Kansas to win at $6
$15 on Collinda Lady to win at $10
$5 on Rohan Bale to win at $101

Fifty Dollar Note

The form guru is dubious on the chances of Jarick Bale (Box 8) in the first heat (Race 4).

“There’s so much speed in his heat; I think Jarick Bale is a big risk. He’s not going to get across, he’ll be wide the trip, and we know he’s suspect over the ‘700’.”

The Watchdog is buoyant though about $4 ‘All In’ favourite Mepunga Ruby (Box 1) in the second heat (Race 5).

“She’s got panels on these with a 41.44sec PB. Mepunga Ruby should get all the breaks and will be leading throughout.”

And the form analyst describes the third heat (Race 6) as an “intriguing heat at that”.

“With the amount of speed, Amnesty (Box 5) is probably not suited as it’s going to be keenly contested up front.

“And you’ve got to respect Gypsy Wyong (Box 1), which is drawn to get all the breaks.”

The Watchdog concludes: “It’s probably one of the best series we’ve seen in quite some time.

“The best overall stayer is Mepunga Ruby as she’s so versatile.

“Gypsy Wyong is the most accomplished, and Zipping Kansas is the fastest stayer on the planet.

“And the two ‘Collinda girls’ are coming through, plus a few elite interstate raiders.

“So, it’s going to be a great series… There’ll be plenty of action on Thursday.”

NB.
Gypsy Wyong is a four-time Group 1 winner
