Traralgon greyhound track update

Completion of the new Traralgon greyhound racetrack has had to be rescheduled because of infrastructure supply delays.

While major construction components of the $6 million track have been completed, including the track surface, manufacturing delays have disrupted the installation of the drop on starting boxes.

GRV has moved the scheduled track reopening to January 2022 to allow a timely installation and trialing of the boxes and to ensure adequate preparation for the first race.

Participants will be kept informed of construction progress and the opening date of the track.

During this period the club will continue to offer hand slip trials.
