Qwara & Bulldogs are ‘talking’

Has TAB gone ‘barking mad’? Well, regardless, they’ll be ‘yapping’ at the “Kennel” with TAB’s ALF/Greys ‘Saturday Special’.

The betting giant’s cross-sports offer is $7.00 for the Western Bulldogs to defeat Melbourne in their top-of-the-table clash and greyhound sprint queen Qwara Bale winning at The Meadows.

And it may be case of ‘who let the dogs out’, with the Demons and Bulldogs first and second respectively on the AFL ladder.

Last week, Melbourne drew with Hawthorn, while the Western Bulldogs eclipsed the Gold Coast Suns by 11pts.

Meanwhile, the Andrea Dailly-trained Qwara Bale is chasing a $100,000 first prize in the G1 Maturity Classic (525m). The only female in the age-restricted event, Qwara Bale is quoted at $3.00 on TAB’s fixed odds market.

Qwara Bale has won 17 races from 30 starts – including five from 10 over 525m at The Meadows, with a 29.79sec PB. Thus far, her career highlights are victories in the G1 Sapphire Crown and G2 Warrnambool Cup.

The Dees vs Doggies blockbuster at the MCG commences at 7.25pm, while Qwara Bale is in Race 8, Box 3 at 8.58pm.

WATCH: Sprint queen Qwara Bale (3) scores an all-the-way 30.19sec G1 Maturity Classic heat win at The Meadows last Saturday night.
