PLAYLIST – A ‘SMASH HIT’?

The Watchdog expects G1-class sprinter Playlist to be in ‘perfect tune’ at Sandown Park.

Winner of the G1 Vic Peters Classic and a G1 Maturity Classic finalist, he was ‘on song’ for new trainer Anthony Azzopardi with a slick 29.82sec (Best) win at The Meadows on April 14.

“On that occasion, he displayed sizzling speed once they left the mat and really powered to the line and revealed he’s full of confidence,” The Watchdog said.

The expert form analyst adds kennelmate Rebel Riot, who has won his past two starts at The Meadows, will also be popular with punters.

He’ll want to move to the middle of the track soon after box rise but with a slow beginner drawn outside, he should gain a clear passage…”

And The Watchdog is not ‘locking down’ the chances of Curfew, who was a smart 30.19sec (Best) winner at Cranbourne on Wednesday.

Check out The Watchdog’s extensive analysis of tonight’s ‘Must-Watch’ race, along with his best ‘Win’ and ‘Place’ bets in today’s edition of the Daily Mail.
