WALTER’S WINNING WAYS?

The Watchdog says, “this is one of the best FFA events you will ever see”. And he’s not wrong!

So, not surprisingly, he’s had to play ‘pin the tail on the donkey’ to come up with his top selection.

And The Watchdog has taken off the ‘blindfold’ and decided upon G1 Silver Chief winner and G1 Temlee finalist, Lakeview Walter. He has won seven races from only 13 starts and is three from three (100%) over this track/distance with a smart 29.39sec PB.

“He was back to his best winning the G3 The Ambrosoli at Wentworth Park and has handled this draw well in the past,” he said.

But the expert form analyst realises the result of this race is not cut and dried!

He’s also partial to the chances of G3 Cup Night Sprint winner and G2 Shepparton Cup finalist Music Event who has won four from six (67%) over this track/distance and boasts a slick 29.25sec PB.

“He can be hard to follow but destroyed a good line-up here last week…”

And The Watchdog says G1 Silver Chief finalist and dual country cups finalist Aussie Secret is “capable of leading them a merry dance”.

Check out The Watchdog’s extensive analysis of tonight’s ‘Must-Watch’ race, along with his best ‘Win’ and ‘Place’ bets in today’s edition of the Daily Mail.
