Invitational exhibition trials at The Meadows

Wow, Stanley Road, Ava Wine and Incapacitated will trial in preparation for the three Group 1 Invitationals at The Meadows on Saturday night in between races.

NSW star Wow will trial over the 525m distance for trainer Karina Britton. He is unbeaten in his past eight career starts which includes victories in the Group 1 Paws Of Thunder and Group 2 Gosford Gold Cup.

Pending box draw for the Temlee – which will be conducted on course at The Meadows on Saturday night from 6.15pm, Wow is the second elect with TAB at $3.90 behind Shima Shine.

Ava Wine and Incapacitated will trial over the 600 metre distance in preparation for the Rookie Rebel.

Ava Wine, who is trained by Million Dollar Chase winning trainer (times two) Peter Lagogiane, is equal second favourite for the Rookie Rebel pending box draw at $4.50.

Ava Wine heads into his trial at The Meadows off the back of two Best Of The Night victories over the middle distances at Nowra and Richmond.

Justin King will bring down his chaser Incapacitated for his 600 metre trial.

Incapacitated is a winner of 16 races from 38 starts and has claimed the Group 3 Christmas Gift Shootout at Wentworth Park over Catch The Thief.

He also competed in the Gosford Gold Cup where he finished second to WOW and the Paws Of Thunder where he finished fifth.

Lastly, Stanley Road will have his first look at The Meadows in preparation for the Zoom Top with a trial over the 600 metre distance.

The Mark Gatt trained greyhound heads into his trial at The Meadows following victory in the Group 2 Summer Distance Plate (720m) at Wentworth Park where he defeated Victorians and fellow Zoom Top contenders Run Like Jess and Blazing Cartier.

Stanley Road sits at the $6 pre box draw for the Zoom Top with Houdini Boy the $2.70 favourite.

Box draws for the Group 1 Invitationals will be conducted live from The Meadows at 6.15pm. Keep an eye on The Meadows and GRV social media channels for the box draws and trial times.
