Meet the Mr. Fix Its

Veteran Geelong goal sneak Tom Hawkins has been the Cats’ forward line ‘Mr. Fix It’ this season.

So, there’s an irony in the following cross-sports offer from TAB.

The betting giant is offering $6.50 about “Tomahawk” kicking 2+ goals against Richmond tonight and Mr. Fix It – the greyhound – winning at Geelong.

Hawkins has bagged 39 goals in 15 games (an average of 2.6 goals per game) and is leading the race for the Coleman Medal.

Geelong are third (44pts) on the AFL ladder with 11 wins from 15 games and Richmond are fifth (42pts) with 10 wins and one draw from 15 matches.

Meanwhile, the promising Angela Langton-trained Mr. Fix It has won three races from only four starts – and is undefeated in two starts over 460m at Geelong.

The Cats v Tigers blockbuster at Metricon Stadium commences at 7.50pm, while Mr. Fix It is in Race 5 Box 4 at 8.27pm.
