SATURDAY SUPERHERO – ROCKSTAR PRINCE

The Watchdog reckons punters are ‘gonna party like it’s 1999’ at The Meadows tonight.

Bettors should be taking home the ‘Diamonds and Pearls’ according to the expert form analyst, who has tipped Rockstar Prince on top in a Mixed 4/5 over 600 metres.

Rockstar Prince is perfectly positioned in the ‘red’ alley, having notched four wins and one third in five starts from box one.

Prepared at Anakie by Andrea Dailly, he’s had three starts over the middle-distance trip at The Meadows for one win and one third.

A finalist in this year’s Group 1 Maturity Classic (525m) at The Meadows, Rockstar Prince has got the ‘Cream’ on eight occasions (with two seconds and five thirds) from 23 starts.

And he’s got a ‘Little Red Corvette’ motor judging by his second in last week’s Group 3 Speed Star (595m) at Sandown Park.

If he keeps following a winning path, Rockstar Prince could indeed become a cult figure of his own!

Check out Rockstar Prince’s 34.29sec victory over 600 metres at The Meadows on August 17 this year:
