WA duo deliver National double

Western Australia made it a clean sweep of the Nationals tonight at Cannington, with Reidy’s Runner winning the National Distance Championship and Premium Share taking out the National Sprint Championship.

Victoria had the two favourites in both races, with champion stayer Tornado Tears ($1.50F) the best performer for the Big V, flashing home for second place in the Distance Final after finding all sorts of trouble.

Rajasthan and Black Opium finished out of the placings in the Distance and Sprint finals respectively.
