The Nationals: Every Wildcard scenario

Champion Victorian duo Orson Allen and Tornado Tears are in the box seat to qualify for the National Sprint and Distance Grand Finals in Perth on 24 August.

All state finals will be conducted this Thursday, with comprehensive coverage to take place on Sky 2 between 8pm and 10pm.

Being the highest-rated greyhounds according to Greyhound Clubs Australia rankings in the sprint and distance categories respectively, Orson Allen and Tornado Tears need only to take their place in the Victorian finals at The Meadows to secure their tickets to Perth.

However, should they win their respective state finals, the duo’s Wildcard status will be passed down the rankings to other greyhounds.

Below is a summary of the possible scenarios.
