Comprehensive Nationals coverage this Thursday night

All National Championship State Finals from across Australia will be run between 8pm and 10pm on Thursday 8 August and will be showcased on Sky Racing 2 (channel 527 – open and free to all Foxtel subscribers). All races will also be broadcast on Sky Racing 1 and oncourse hosts at all venues.

For the first time, New Zealand will have a representative in both the National Sprint and Distance Finals, which will be run at Cannington on Saturday 24 August.

They will be joined in each race by one representative from every state in Australia, plus a Wildcard entrant.

Listed below are the times of all Nationals state finals to be run on Thursday (all times are AEST).

NZ Sprint – Race 9 Christchurch 5:24PM

NZ Distance – Race 10 Christchurch 5:43PM

Sky 2 broadcast commences at 8pm.

QLD Distance – Race 5 at Albion Park 8:07PM
VIC Distance – Race 7 at The Meadows 8:13PM
SA Distance – Race 4 at Angle Park 8:19PM
QLD Sprint – Race 6 at Albion Park 8:28PM
VIC Sprint – Race 8 at The Meadows 8:37PM
NSW Sprint – Race 5 at Wentworth Park 8:43PM
TAS Distance – Race 5 at Launceston 8:55PM
SA Sprint – Race 6 at Angle Park 9:01PM
NSW Distance – Race 6 at Wentworth Park 9:07PM
TAS Sprint – Race 6 at Launceston 9:16PM
WA Distance – Race 1 at Cannington 9:34PM
WA Sprint – Race 2 at Cannington 9:52PM

The Sky 2 Nationals broadcast concludes at 10.00pm.

Box draws for the Sprint and Distance National Finals are planned to be conducted
on course at Cannington after races 4 and 6 on Thursday night.
