Eleven-times Group race finalist Dyna Chancer is one of The Watchdog’s ‘Best Bets’ at Sandown Park tonight. The ultra-versatile performer will exit from box one in a Free For All over 595 metres.
His record at Sandown Park over this journey reads five wins and three seconds from 14 starts, including a dazzling 33.85sec success – just under four lengths off the 33.63sec track record, set by his sire Dyna Double One in January 2016.
Also significant, is Dyna Chancer’s overall record from box one. He’s never finished out of a place from the coveted ‘red’ trap, with four wins, three seconds and two thirds from nine starts.
Dyna Chancer is prepared by Mount Wallace mentor Correy Grenfell, who also has Ernesto Bale (box four) – a cracking 29.96sec winner at The Meadows two starts ago – engaged in Race 7 (8:19pm). He is The Watchdog’s top selection in a Grade Five over 515 metres.
