WEDNESDAY WHISPER – SHIMA SHINE

We’d all like a little extra ‘shrapnel’ jangling in our ‘skyrocket’ for that requisite skinny decaf latte to help us through the daily nine-to-five grind.

So, here’s one of The Watchdog’s top selections for Ballarat tonight, which hopefully can ‘skim the cream off the top’ in the GRV Vic Bred Maiden Series Final over 450 metres.

Prepared by Andrea Dailly, Shima Shine ($4.60) was a devastating heat winner in 25.25sec Best – around six and a half lengths quicker than the next fastest heat winner, Mr. Bar Wicked. Dailly will also be hoping for a litter quinella, with Dim Sim (who finished second to Mr. Bar Wicked) exiting from box seven in the final.
