Batman aims for back-to-back Fireball’s

Despite three weeks away from the track there are no injury concerns for Tornado Tears ahead of Saturday night’s Group listed Fireball heats at The Meadows.

“There have been no races for him between now and the Brisbane Superstayers because he is a grade 1,” trainer Rob Britton said.

“He is going into the race fresh.”

“I am happy with what we have been able to do with his preparation, but he will be better for the run.”

Tornado Tears lines up in the opening Fireball heat (Race 2) from box five as the $1.22 favourite.

Dyna Chancer looks to be Tornado Tears’ closest competition from box seven with a vacant box between the two.

The second Fireball sees Peppertide and Sandown Cup winner Rajasthan go head-to-head with punters struggling to pick the races favourite.

With just the two heats of the Group listed Fireball (725m), the first four place getters will earn a rug in next Saturday nights final at The Meadows.
