Monster Fish looks hard to catch in chase for $20K bonus prize money

The race for a share in the $20,000 bonus prize money on offer throughout the Gippsland Carnival continues, with Monster Fish now a clear leader on 37 points.

Monster Fish is the only greyhound in the top 20 that has qualified for Friday night’s Group 2 Traralgon Cup final (525m), meaning he will almost certainly further extend his lead heading into the final leg, the Cranbourne Cup series.
Jesaulenko, who is currently in second place on 34 points, is the second reserve in the Traralgon Cup.

The Gippsland Carnival incorporates the 2017 Sale Cup (650m) and Gippsland Carnival Launch (440m), which were both held on Boxing Day, as well as the 2018 Warragul Cup (January 13), Traralgon Cup (January 26) and Cranbourne Cup (February 10).

The top points scorer in the Gippsland Carnival will receive $14,000, with $4,000 and $2,000 to go to the second and third highest points scorers respectively.
