Sale Cup heats are out!

Burn One Down headlines the 2016 Group One Sale Cup heats on Sunday night at Sale, opening the first leg of the Gippsland Carnival.

Jason Thompson’s superstar stayer is set to jump from box eight in the second Sale Cup heat.

Only one greyhound, Ramifications, has defeated Burn One Down in his last ten starts, which has included two handicap victories (5m and 6m) at The Meadows.

Robert Britton’s talented greyhound Fanta Bale lines up in the fourth heat from box four in her first start at Sale.

Dundee Osprey has also made the step up to the 650 metres for the Sale Cup, drawing box one in the fifth heat.

The opening running of the Gippsland Sprint will see Jesaulenko and Pantera Nera represent the Gippsland region in hope of becoming the Gippsland Sprint Champion.

Victories in both the Sale Cup and Gippsland Sprint heats could well mean vital points towards possibly becoming a Gippsland Champion.
