UPDATED: Heat affected meetings around the state

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, the Shepparton, Ballarat and Traralgon Meetings for Monday 21 November, have been marked as ‘Heat Affected’ due to the forecasted temperature of 37, 33 and 37 degrees respectively.

As a consequence:
– Trainers are able to withdraw any of their greyhounds without penalty prior to the appointed scratching time.
– The use of barking muzzles are prohibited for both travel and kennelling.
– Kennels will open 30 minutes earlier than normal.
– Kennel temperatures to be monitored and recorded.
– Trials after the last race are to be cancelled.

Please be advised that due to the current forecasted Hot Weather for Monday 21st November, today’s meeting at Shepparton has been DELAYED in accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Race 1 will commence at 8:18PM.

 

Please also be advised that due to the current forecasted Hot Weather for Monday 21 November, the Traralgon meeting has been TRANSFERRED in accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
