The Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) Hall of Fame Committee is extending an invitation for people to nominate potential Hall of Fame inductees for the first time since the Hall of Fame was introduced in 2009.
The Committee – chaired by GRV Chief Executive Adam Wallish – will review all nominations and their relevance to the Hall of Fame Criteria and determine which people and/or greyhounds will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at future Greyhound Industry Awards Nights.
At the time of the introduction of the Hall of Fame a number of names were floated as potential inductees by industry experts and the time has come to add prospective inductees to the existing list.
Nominations have to be made against strict Hall of Fame criteria and will not be accepted unless a detailed explanation of why a certain person/greyhound deserves their nomination.
Hall of Fame nominations will close on Friday 3 October – no nominations will be considered past that time. Nominations can be submitted to Pat Griffin at [email protected]
