MARCUS JOE CAN OVERCOME AWKWARD DRAW TONIGHT AT MORSHEAD PARK

Trainer Barry Moloney, who has taken on a greater profile since his greyhound Marcus Joe stunned punters by winning the Group 1 Maturity Classic in May, is hoping his wave of success will continue at Ballarat on Wednesday night.

Seven heats of the Group 2 Ballarat Cup will be run on Wednesday and few look more even on paper than the final heat, scheduled at 10:20pm, in which Marcus Joe is rated a $4.20 third favourite with TAB fixed odds
behind Gimme Fuel ($3.50) and Clone Your Own ($3.80).
