Faralla recognised as Victoria’s Club Manager of the Year

Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club Manager Jodie Faralla has been recognised for her outstanding leadership, taking out the prestigious Club Manager of the Year award at Saturday night’s Community Clubs Victoria Gala Dinner.

The honour is presented across all community club sectors in Victoria, recognising excellence in leadership, innovation and community contribution.

Faralla’s award is another example of her unwavering commitment to both the Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club and the wider greyhound community.

“To have Jodie, Ballarat and greyhound racing celebrated on such a big stage for community clubs is an outstanding result,” Greyhound Clubs Victoria CEO Brett Jones said.

“This award recognises the standard Jodie has set at her own club and the contributions she makes across our industry.”

Faralla has become synonymous with community engagement, spearheading initiatives that extend well beyond the racetrack. From Ballarat’s popular Community Eight Ball competition to her recent involvement in Dancing With Our Stars, where she raised more than $23,500 for the Ballarat Foundation, she has continued to shine a positive light on both the local community and greyhound racing.

Her latest accolade is fitting recognition of the passion, dedication and leadership she continues to display in Victorian greyhound racing.
