Superstar sprinter Power And Glory braved challenging conditions for his first look at The Meadows tonight, clocking 29.94 seconds (5.20 early) over the 525 metres.

During the meeting, Stomping impressed with an all-the-way victory in a slick 29.58 seconds – a huge run given the testing weather. He held off Canya Tornado, who had flown around Sandown Park at his previous start.

The Golden Easter Egg and Million Dollar Chase winner now has the Group 1 Topgun firmly in sight, with connections having until 10am Friday to nominate with Greyhound Racing Victoria should they wish to be considered.
