Who wants to be a millionaire?

Five Victorian connected greyhounds are one win away from a $1m windfall after taking out semi-finals of the Million Dollar Chase at Wentworth Park last night.

Victorian-trained trio Black Opium, Curt Lee and Shima Shine are all at single figure odds to win the Friday night’s final at Wentworth Park in what is an even betting market.

Meanwhile, Get It Gizmo and Flying Bazza, both trained in NSW by Jason Mackay, were both bred, and are owned, in Victoria.

The Jason Thompson-trained Black Opium set the time standard early in the night, clocking 29.46sec, however her time was narrowly bettered by Get It Gizmo, who ran 29.45sec. Get It Gizmo has Box 1 in the final and is the second favourite at $3.80 behind local star Good Odds Harada ($3.60).
