The road to Nationals glory gets a little clearer on Friday, with the box draws for all three National Championship finals to be conducted live on Grey Areas from midday.

Corey Smith and George Farrugia will be behind the desk for a special edition of the show, bringing their usual mix of racing insight and fun before turning their attention to the all-important draws.

The boxes will be revealed for the Group 3 National Straight Track Championship, Group 1 National Distance Championship and Group 1 National Sprint Championship, setting the scene for a huge week of racing in Victoria.

First up will be the National Straight Track Championship at Healesville on Friday, 28 August, where the country’s best straight-track performers will battle it out for national honours.

The focus then shifts to Sandown Park on Saturday, 29 August for a Group 1 double-header featuring the National Distance Championship and National Sprint Championship.

With representatives from across Australia descending on Victoria, Friday’s box draws could prove pivotal in shaping three fascinating National finals.
