RSN Grey Areas | George gets angry

Jason Adams and George Farrugia tackle a night of racing for the purists.

Heats of the McKenna Memorial at Sandown Park kicked off discussions with George talking through his pockets about a seven-leg multi that Canya All Class failed to assist with.

Stand out performances from the Presutto and Dailly camps who have multiple contenders in Thursday night’s Group 2 McKenna Memorial.

After a big wrap on Traumatise by trainer Jason Thompson during the week, we were treated to another epic battle between him and Valedictorian with Valedictorian coming out on top this time.

The heats of the Queensland and Brisbane Cups also hit the agenda after a Victorian domination – Tim Zoo… stop it.

But the best part comes at the end. Now a 45-year-old, George Farrugia is on his high horse about an incident in an El Jannah restaurant.

As always George’s tips, Obscure Outlay and a pretty genuine Farrugia Files.

George’s set at The Meadows Saturday:

Race 2, Weblec Prince (1)
“I think he will be at each way odds… Like where he is drawn.”

Race 4, Fade To Back (5)
“Looks a winnable race and should be able to bounce back.”

Obscure Outlay –
Swans +9, Gold Coast to win, Hawthorn to win.
